The Soccer Match
There was a delay in-terms of kickoff time the pronounced kickoff time was 15:00hrs CAT but the match started almost 70 minutes later. The time mishap wasn’t really noted by many because the atmosphere was very merry, the terraces were packed by cheering fans binge drinking beer and music being played. The Zim Musicians FC claimed the bragging rights of the match as they vigorously thrashed the timeline boys 5-2.  From our own perspective dancehall chanter King shaddy also goes by the moniker“Mr bones” was the man of the match as he played the central defender position. On the losing side the player who performed well was one guy who was named Rancho whose play resembles a lot of quick legs and trickster antics with the ball, but luck was not on his side he pulled a muscle at halftime & he was substituted.

The atmosphere was very social on both end. The losing fans were the loudest and it was one of the remarkable moments of the day because the spirit around the match was uplifting. Many people got to meet their twelebs as many may call them taking pictures, contact numbers or even socialize with them. Some went on for selfie bombing the musicians as they were the more notable celebrities of the day. Unlike most social matches this was on a league of its own no fights were recorded . The Zwitter FC drive is a great cause because it has the potential to become one of the biggest social events, if it allows the cooperate world to step in terms of advertising during matches.

Many fans are appealing for a rematch because they want to see more members of the Zim Musicians FC. We look forward to see both teams in action we will cover more of their matches.
