Today we celebrate International Albinism Awareness Day.
People with albinism don't possess any supernatural powers, these are just degrading myths.
(13 June)It is an annual United Nations observance that aims to educate the people by highlighting the rights of persons with albinism as discrimination and violence remain against them.
Living with albinism continues to be a challenge. Let us help erase the stigmas and attacks against them. Together, we raise awareness and show love to our people born with albinism.
